Sarah Elliott: Director of the UK-US Special Relationship Unit
Sarah Elliott, Lady Elliott of Mickle Fell, is the Director of the UK-US Special Relationship Unit. She has spent most of the past 20 years working in US politics, advocating for policies that encourage economic prosperity and preserve individual freedom.
Most recently, Sarah co-founded and chairs The Hamilton Society, which provides discourse for London-based, American and British centre-right conservative professionals. She served as the chair of Republicans Overseas UK (2017-2021) and remains an active Republicans Overseas UK Board member and spokesperson. Her background is in GOP politics, having worked for Grover Norquist at Americans for Tax Reform, Americans for Prosperity, and is a veteran of many Republican political campaigns such as Bush/Cheney ‘04. Sarah started her career in Washington, D.C. with the Republican National Committee’s major donor programs.
Sarah is often called upon to defend the Republican or US conservative view in all the major UK media outlets and in live events.
Previously, Sarah served as managing director for the American European Business Association (AEBA) in London, where Sarah led a discussion forum designed to inform the senior executives of major transatlantic corporations on business, economic and political topics under the Chatham House Rule.
She received her B.A. in International Affairs with honours and a concentration in Spanish from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, USA. She also studied abroad at the University of Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain.
Sarah lives out the Special Relationship every day in southwest London with her British husband and their two young daughters.
