Jordan McKittrick

As Head of Data at the Legatum Institute, Jordan seeks to understand the world through a more quantitative lens. His principal goal is to promote prosperity, in the broadest sense of the word, both at home and abroad. While economic growth is absolutely essential to this mission, prosperity must be understood in its totality, incorporating the social, political, and communal dimensions of life, among others.

Originally from America, Jordan immigrated to the UK to do a master’s at Oxford in theoretical chemistry before moving to Peterhouse, Cambridge to do a PhD in an area of mathematics known as information theory. He has broad interests ranging from economics to science and mathematics.
