The Legatum Prosperity Index™ is the world’s leading measure of national progress that combines both economic success and social wellbeing. Covering 149 nations and based on 104 indicators and over 15,000 data points, the Index provides a unique insight into international wellbeing by identifying the conditions required for prosperous nations.

The Legatum Institute’s Chief Operating Officer, Nathan Gamester, accepted the award at the Society’s annual conference in Hong Kong.

Commenting on the award Mr Gamester said:

“It is an honour to accept this award on behalf of the Institute. We are very proud of the Prosperity Index, which helps identify how we can build stronger economies, societies, and nations. The Index is already an established benchmarking tool used by governments and policy-makers around the world; it is especially gratifying to be recognised by an organisation as prestigious and well-respected as ISQOLS.”
