Join us for the launch of the Legatum Institute’s UK Prosperity Index, which will take place online on Thursday 13th May, at 9:00am.
The event will feature a discussion between special guest speaker, former Chancellor and Home Secretary, Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP and Director of the Centre for UK Prosperity at the Institute, Professor Matthew Goodwin as they explore the challenges and opportunities facing Britain as we come out of the coronavirus crisis. We are also delighted to be joined by the Director of Reform, Charlotte Pickles, who will share her insights on the ‘levelling-up’ agenda.
As part of this discussion, the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP and Professor Matthew Goodwin will discuss what needs to be done to develop regional economic policies, where the work needs to be targeted to achieve the Government’s levelling up agenda and what else needs to be done to drive prosperity across the UK.
The UK Prosperity Index has been designed to be a tool for transformation that will help leaders at all levels seize the opportunities available to them, providing a comprehensive and holistic assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of every region and local authority of the UK.
