This week, the Legatum Institute played host to a roundtable meeting to discuss the findings of the latest report of our Global People Movements programme. We welcomed representatives from NGOs, the diplomatic community and policymakers focused on the four regions of sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, Latin America and Asia. The report, entitled The Four Regions at the Heart of the Migration Crisis, provides a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics shaping migration. In doing so, the report identifies some of the key challenges and opportunities facing policymakers and all those working to develop practical and compassionate solutions to those undertaking irregular migrant journeys.
