Warren is the Legatum Institute’s Maintenance Manager. He grew up in South Africa where he gained 10 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, He then started a very successful marine aquarium business and began one of the first coral fragging/farming projects in South Africa. Following this Warren set off on a quest throughout Eastern Africa working on various aquaculture projects and helping local communities understand the value of their natural resources. He settled in Djibouti for several years, working closely with a project focused on the rehabilitation of refugee children and teaching various methods of aquaculture, before moving to London.
