Amanda is a Research Analyst at the Centre for Metrics team, focusing on the United States Prosperity Index. Prior to joining the Legatum Institute, Amanda worked in a consulting capacity to commercialise technologies developed in American national laboratories and to expand a Zimbabwean EdTech company. Amanda holds bachelors’ degrees in French, Economics, and Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma. She also holds a master’s in Economic History from the London School of Economics, where she investigated the impact of interwar trade protectionism. Her research interests include household decision making, consumer behaviour, and international political economy.
