Title
The Legatum Institute’s recently established 'Policy Dialogues' series seeks to create a forum for politicians to air views and test arguments. The series also attempts to address questions regarding the responsibility and accountability of individuals and government, the role of markets, the scope of public policy and democratic legitimacy.

2020 Conservatives Partnership

To kick off the 'Policy Dialogues' series, the Legatum Institute joined forces with the '2020 Conservatives', a group of Conservative Members of Parliament who believe in a modern, fair and inclusive politics; an open, aspirational and liberal economics; and a strong, just pluralist society. The partnership will continue throughout 2013 and 2014 with a series of joint publications and debates exploring a range of policy areas. Each dialogue will feature a policy paper authored by a member of the 2020 group, published together with, in some cases, a commissioned expert critique. Each publication will then be presented and discussed at a public panel discussion at the Legatum Institute.
