Sweden, like other Nordic countries, appears to have found a recipe for sustained success. What is behind this remarkable performance? A panel discussion to explore this question from a variety of angles.
In recent years Sweden appears to have found a recipe for sustained economic success combined with social and political harmony. So it came as no surprise that Norway, Denmark, and Sweden share the podium in the recently published
Legatum Prosperity Index, a unique global assessment of national success combining measures of material wealth and subjective wellbeing.
This panel, hosted jointly by the Legatum Institute and the Swedish embassy in London, will explore that success and also look ahead to answer two key questions: is Sweden’s performance sustainable? And can it be copied?
