“We are delighted to announce Cristina Odone’s appointment as Director of Communications. She comes to us with a stellar track record, deep resonance with the mission of the Institute and a strategic vision for the role. At its core the Legatum Institute is researching and promoting the ideas that can help people, particularly the poor and most vulnerable, lead more prosperous lives. We are looking forward to working with Cristina to this end over the coming years. ”

Speaking of her appointment Odone said:

“Legatum’s work is inspirational: this is one of the best untold stories in London. The scope, direction and potential of the Institute’s activities deserve a far wider audience. I am excited and honoured to have the chance to develop and implement Legatum’s new communications strategy.”

Sian Hansen, former managing director of Policy Exchange, is the Legatum Institute’s Chief Operating Officer.
